Natural Gas

A liquefied natural gas plant is proposed in the Wakulla community of Robeson County.

Since 2015 EcoRobeson has been fighting natural gas infrastructure expansion in Robeson County, NC.

After years of working on the ground, in 2020 it was announced the Atlantic Coast Pipeline would be canceled – a big win for N.C. rural communities.

Now the fight continues as we protest further harmful development in our county.

The latest natural gas infrastructure threat in Robeson County is the proposed Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant which if approved, would be in the community of Wakulla (Robeson County).

The latest updates on our involvement will be on our Facebook page.
